Since starting MIT Innovators Under 35 European Awards in 2011, we have held local editions of the competition in Belgium, Spain, France, Poland and Germany, always pursuing the same objective: to award innovation — the development of new technologies or the creative application of pre-existing ones in order to resolve current problems—, ingenuity, and advances toward addressing the world’s most pressing challenges.
As the European project continued to grow, the community has gone one step further this year as we aim to compile a pool of the top 35 profiles in Europe which will become Innovators Under 35 Europe for 2017.
What will happen in Belgium?
We will continue to support local communities, which are key to the success of this initiative, by organizing gatherings in each of the countries mentioned above. Through these efforts, we have created Innovators Under 35 Europe: Belgium Gathering 2017, an initiative of MIT Technology Review which aims to recognize the most remarkable technological entrepreneurs and researchers all over Belgium for 2017.
Where and when?
Our annual gathering will take place in the Chancellery Auditorium, BNP Paribas Fortis on June 20th. Do you want to stay tuned on the latest news? Follow us on Social Media or get in touch through: innovators.europe(@)opinno.com
